Destash sale.
That wonderful thing I didn't realize was so desperately needed. That thing I totally forgot I could do up until 3 minutes ago.
My first destash sale listing is posted on Etsy and it's for a lot of these cute vintage Tibetan silver guitar charms. I have more than I'll ever use, so I'm letting go of some. This is going to be really difficult for me, as I have a really close relationship with MY things.
Have you ever had a destash sale, something similar?
Did you have to look up the word destash because you never heard of the term?
Don't worry, you're probably not alone. It's a word I've only seen used by people in the crafty/handmade universe. It means to get rid of your stash of supplies, either by having a sale, or by donation.
If you have experience with destash, what are some tips and tricks you think I might need to know?
What websites, hasthtags, apps, communities, do you think would most appreciate this blog post? Comment below, or share this post for me! I will update with links to my listings as well the websites my destash sale will bring me to for the first time. I'll update this post with things I've learned from my experience.
